Each of the nine lessons last from 8 to 15 minutes. Plus there are worksheets to be done after viewing each lesson.

Eat Right for a Long and Healthy Life is a nine-lesson program that teaches the basics of healthy eating by bringing you into the lives of an interesting cast of characters. First, meet the regulars at the Home-Cooked Cafe and follow along on nutrition packed adventure as they learn about eating well and staying healthy. Then meet the three experts-- Dr. Why; Snoop the Sleuth; and Katie, Cyber-Nutrition Advisor -- who know more about nutrition than you can fit in 1,000 empty walnut shells.

I am the owner of Double S Instructional Systems and have received federal funding for over 20 grant projects. I have developed instructional programs on dangerous drug prevention, nutrition, weight loss and exercise, leisure, stress reduction, and abuse prevention for people with developmental disabilities and their support providers.
I currently provide training to individuals with developmental disabilities, parents, care providers, and professionals-- helping them to adopt a healthier lifestyle and also helping them manage their stress by using mindfulness techniques.
